Did you know that Rec Hockey is run by a board of volunteers?

This season we have 50 TEAMS, comprised of 831 PLAYERS/GOALIES,

COACHED by 159 volunteer parents.

Each Division plays 32 regular season games, PLUS we participate in the Esso Minor Hockey Week Tournament and our Year End Tournament.

All of this is made possible because parents step forward as volunteers.

What do our volunteers commit to?

Every year in the spring we hold our Annual General Meeting, where we review the activities for the year, and elect new members to the Board for the next year. Please consider a committment to Rec Hockey that directly helps your child by volunteering to make our Association be the best it can be.

REGISTRATION DATES

MAY 1 - 14 RETURNING PLAYERS & GOALIES MAY REGISTER BEFORE OPEN TO PUBLIC

MAY 15 - AUG 31 REGISTRATION OPEN TO PUBLIC

SEPT 1 - SEPT 30 REGISTRATION ACCEPTED TO WAIT LIST ONLY; REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT

CHECK OUT THE REGISTRATION BUTTON ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN

Place mouse/cursor over the word "Registration", then further menu items will appear for you to select/click on.

If our registration numbers are full by August 31st, we will then watch the Wait List numbers. We require approx. 40 members in order to create an additional two teams in any one division. Check the Registration Numbers on the side bar, under Registration to see how many spots are left. This table will be updated at least once per week.

FLAMES Even Strength forms for 2011-2012 season have been uploaded to our website for your use. This form can be found under "Financial Assistance", under "Forms" and under "Registration". Fully completed forms must be received by Rec Hockey no later than Sept 15 to allow time for processing.

The RHC AGM was held on April 19 at 6:30pm at the Max Bell Arena, Bronze Meeting Room.
