Coaches Meeting – September 24, 6.00pm

This year we will be holding a face to face Coaches Kick Off Meeting on
September 24 at 6:00 pm in the Silver Room at Max Bell Arena.

PART ONE

Part one of the meeting runs from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm.  This part of the
meeting is required for Head Coaches in all RHC divisions.  If you are a
Head Coach and you are unable to attend, then please ask one of your
assistants, we would like to have one representative from each team.

In part one we will be focusing primarily on the following:

* Ethos of RHC
* Expectation of Coaches
* ‘Making the Call’ with Chris Bruce, Central Zone Region Referee
Coordinator
* Bench Management with Zack Finlay, Hockey Calgary
* Breakout session with Age Division Coordinators

After part one, U18 & Junior Coaches are free to depart.

PART TWO

Part two of the meeting runs from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm.  This part will be
for all U13 & U15 Head & Assistant Coaches and will focus on practice
planning and game preparation.

PART THREE

Part three of the meeting is an on-ice session that runs from 9:00 pm to
10:00 pm.  We will run through some drills that work well with
mixed-skill teams, discuss effective coaching techniques, and so on.
Please bring your skates, helmet, gloves and stick.
